Laurel worked in manufacturing for over 37 years and served as a committee member for IAM Local Union, before transitioning to Real Estate full-time.
  
She has adopted 4 children through kinship foster care. One of them with special needs. Laurel loves getting the kids outside to enjoy the same activities she did as a child, from kite flying, swimming, fishing, camping, bike riding, to sledding just to name a few.
  
She is an active member of St. Matthias Catholic Parish where she taught Christian Formation classes.    
  
Laurel’s business partner, Julia Frederick, ran an in-home daycare for over 25 years. 
Julia graduated from Bay View High School in 1985. She became a foster parent in her early 20s. Julia remained a foster care provider for over 20 years. 
 
Laurel and Julia are big-time sports fans- Packers, Brewers, Bucks, and Badgers, only to name a few. Both are animal lovers and Julia has a little dog named “Meeko”.
